Just as I swipe my access card & step into the floor, I can hear Priya's giggle signal a welcome. Prabhu, Kranthi, Arulveni, Vijay (007), JC & Priya are engaged in their heated arguement which would've started as a morning warm-up conversation. As I walk toward by room, I also notice Ravikiran & Manoj pouring over the monitors. Rama is eager to find out who is walking by & lifts her head to steal a glance.
"Hello, Shankar", wishes Noble as Vinu greets me with a "Good Morning" even though it is past noon. As I acknowledge their greeetings, I notice a pair of eyes gimme that You-are-a-Schmuck look. That's Chinthiya for you. Behind those looks, however, the voice isn't that daunting. "Hi Shankar", she sayz.
Returning all their greetings, I manage to wade past all this & walk alongside the cabin that houses a spark, cork and a screw inside. This happens to be the leading half of the Production Support N RCA Team. The trailing half of the Production Support N RCA Team is seated in the cabin next to Babu. The entire Production Support N RCA Team happens to be pouring over some Production abend resolution.
On the 27th of March (sometime in the evening), when I did come to TIDEL from ElNet, none of these were observed. Though the Mercator Team, which had moved to the 6th Floor, had a few known faces none of the observations I've written about repeated themselves. A couple of hours later, the aisles were dead but I'd like to call them hallowed - the voices of LATRON still reverberated!
